Micropelt Peltier Cooler Definitions

Micropelt – Special Explanatory Notes
- It would be tempting to give ΔTmax values as ΔT results. However, since heating of the hot side and thermal coupling to the heat sink also have an effect, we have decided to be conservative and publish only net values Tc!
- The heating of the hot side can be minimized by improving the thermal contact between heat sink and hot side of the Micropelt Peltier cooler.
We apply heat-conductive paste to optimize thermal contact between heat sink and the Micropelt Peltier cooler hot side.
- The use of thin and/or long wires results in additional hot side heating.
To avoid this effect, we use two thick Au-wires (70 µm diameter, ~5 mm length) on each contact pad.
